The walnut sauce is a typical product of Ligurian tradition, based on pounded walnut cold in the “mortaio” together with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt and bread soaked in milk. Is accompanied perfectly as condiment of pasta and in particolar on pansotti, but also trofie and croxetti. Before putting on table is excellent season with parmesan.
