  CHESTNUT HONEY 

Honey by local producers; is a particular honey by dark color, pungent odor and intensely bitter taste and it’s the reason that meets the needs of many costumers. No crystallization or very slow, both smell and taste remember intense and pungent undergrowth.

Its bitter taste and its strong aroma does not make it suitable to sweeten, but to add flavor and spice. Excellent consumed directly on the bread, possibly with a little butter; to try with ricotta and mature cheese in general.
